Frequently asked questions about EVEO Data Centers

How many Data Centers does EVEO have and where are they?

Ícone de interface
EVEO operates five Data Centers: two in the São Paulo metropolitan area, one in Curitiba, one in Fortaleza and one in Miami, in the United States. This footprint lets you choose the region with the lowest latency for your operation and build redundancy across locations.

What does Tier III mean in practice?

Ícone de interface
Tier III is the Uptime Institute classification for Data Centers with redundant power and cooling paths. In practice, it means any component can be maintained without shutting down the customer's operation.

What availability SLA is guaranteed in the contract?

Ícone de interface
EVEO guarantees 99.5% availability in the contract. This figure is the service commitment and should not be confused with the Tier III certification percentage, which refers to the facility design.

Are the Data Centers owned or outsourced?

Ícone de interface
The Brazilian facilities are operated by EVEO, with an on-site technical team at each one. The Miami facility serves projects that require a presence outside Brazil.

What certifications do EVEO Data Centers hold?

Ícone de interface
The facilities hold Tier III design and construction certifications from the Uptime Institute, plus certifications in quality management, information security, privacy, business continuity, environment and occupational health, as well as compliance with the payment card industry security standard.

How does power redundancy work?

Ícone de interface
Each facility runs on redundant power paths, uninterruptible power systems and generators capable of sustaining the operation during utility power outages. The equipment undergoes periodic start-up tests.

How is physical security handled at the facilities?

Ícone de interface
Access is controlled in layers, with prior identification, individual authorization, camera monitoring and entry and exit logging. Only people authorized for that specific area can move through it.

Can I visit the Data Center before signing a contract?

Ícone de interface
Technical visits can be scheduled with the sales team, following security procedures and with prior authorization for the people visiting the site.

What is the latency between the facilities and the main capital cities?

Ícone de interface
Having facilities in São Paulo, Curitiba and Fortaleza lets you choose the one closest to your audience and reduce response time. The technical team presents latency measurements from your traffic origin during the project assessment.

How do connectivity and network redundancy work?

Ícone de interface
The facilities operate with more than one carrier and separate fiber paths, so a single link failure does not take down the operation. Dedicated interconnection between facilities and with your company's environment is also available.

Does my data stay in Brazil?

Ícone de interface
Yes, in the Brazilian facilities. Keeping data in Brazil makes compliance with the LGPD (Brazil's General Data Protection Law) easier and keeps the operation under Brazilian law. The Miami facility is used only when the project requires an international presence.

What is the cooling infrastructure like?

Ícone de interface
The facilities run redundant precision cooling, keeping temperature and humidity within the range required by the equipment, with continuous environmental monitoring.

Is there an on-site technical team 24 hours a day?

Ícone de interface
Yes. The facilities have an on-site technical team, and EVEO support runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year, in Portuguese. This allows hands-on intervention without your team having to travel.

What is the Remote Hands service?

Ícone de interface
It is the execution of physical tasks on your equipment by EVEO's on-site team: machine reboots, cable swaps, component replacement and visual checks of alerts. It saves your team a trip to the facility at any time of day.

How do I contract space in an EVEO Data Center?

Ícone de interface
The first step is to talk to the sales team to size space, power and connectivity for your equipment. From there, EVEO presents a proposal with the recommended facility and the move-in plan.
